As we enter the final weeks of 2015, we reflect on the year that’s gone. Once again for us at Clarity, it has been an interesting and exciting year, and one that has seen each of our divisions grow and succeed. We have developed new business partners, grown the membership of our compliance schemes, passed our ISO accreditation audit with flying colours and had another very successful few days exhibiting at RWM. We asked some of our team members to share their highlights of 2015.
This year has seen our waste-to-fuel division go from strength to strength, with the development of a growing network of waste producers and off takers. Business Development Executive, Charlotte Heather, said: “Working with a variety of sectors, our network is helping to divert waste from landfill, reducing disposal costs and environmental impact. We are immensely proud of the growth we’ve seen in the division this year and are pleased to be working with so many businesses across the UK and also in Europe. We now have our sights set on further expansion in 2016.”
Thanks to our cost-effective membership options, clear advice and friendly communication, we have welcomed some large household names to both our packaging compliance and waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) compliance schemes this year. Project Manager, Vikkie Fitzgerald, who manages our WEEE compliance scheme, is delighted with the growth. She said “It’s been a year of growth for our compliance schemes and we are looking forward to working with all of our members in 2016, as well as introducing our schemes to even more WEEE and packaging producers.” Vikkie added that the growth in our WEEE compliance scheme has been supported by our WEEE recycling network: “Our Recycle with Clarity initiative has been a huge success this year, which has meant we have met our targets, as well as attracting more producers into our scheme for 2016.”
It has been a bumper year of trading for our PRN trading team. Commercial Manager, Chris Taylor, said: “Once again, the PRN market has been volatile and we’ve faced many challenges through the year, but with new buyers exploring the market, our team has had a record trading year in 2015 and we look forward to continuing that success in the New Year.”
We would like to take the opportunity to thank all of those we have worked with over the course of the year for their continued support and business. We look forward to working with you again in 2016.
