The Waste & Resources Action Programme (WRAP) have launched a new fund encouraging partnerships between local authorities and/or retailers, reprocessors, housing associations, estate agent, devleopers or charities to work together to encourage local recycling. Initiatives must be branded as part of their Recycle Now national recycling campaign for England,
Funding is for projects costed at £30,000 to £50,000 and applicants must provide at least 50% matched funding which can be monetary or in resources contributed by partners. Campaigns must also use the Recycle Now branding, with materials to be signed off by WRAP. Projects must also be compliant with local authority separate collection regulations and target areas with at least 30,000 households.
The fund applies to projects in England, with the exception of London. London boroughs looking for communications support should contact Resource London on: 07827 896150 to discuss opportunities.
