We are delighted to welcome Alec Brownjohn and Charlotte Briggs to Clarity Environmental who have joined our expanded communications team as Marketing and Design Executive and Marketing Executive, respectively.
With continuing growth across each of our divisions, a significant increase in the number of businesses joining our compliance schemes, and a growing need for digital communications, our expanded communications team will ensure we can support our teams with all of their marketing and communications needs. The team will continue to work alongside our account managers to provide customers with timely information about the industry, news and regulation changes that may affect their business, and help spread the good word about our services at Clarity.
With the growing awareness of global environmental issues and the importance of a strong social media and digital presence, we are looking forward to seeing Alec and Charlotte apply their experience in the digital market and we are sure they will become dynamic and innovative members of our team.
Alec’s background is in digital media. A graduate of Bournemouth University with a degree in Global Media Practice, Alec joined xoomtalk as a Marketing and Design Executive. During his two years at the Brighton based company he developed and built their website from scratch and advanced his design skills in a business setting. His eye for detail and creative flair will be a huge asset to the communications team.
Alec’s other experience prior to joining Clarity was in Switzerland, overseeing a team of 10 as a driving and logistics manager. This experience in people management has given him an appreciation for teamwork, something Clarity takes great care to seek out in its employees.
Alec is extremely active outside of the office, a keen footballer and snowboarder, with the latter being slightly more difficult to enjoy in the balmy south downs. He enjoys going out for a good meal and indulging in a couple of beers at the weekend – except for January, in which he is going dry!

An Economics graduate from Holmfirth, Yorkshire, Charlotte has spent the last three years working for a handknitting company as Trade Marketing Assistant and Head of Social Media. Her experience is varied and covers both B2C and B2B marketing. Her passion for content creation means she is keen in developing photography and videography as part of her role.
Charlotte came to Clarity in a radical move from Yorkshire to Brighton with a drive for change and to work with a passionate and committed group of people. She is looking to expand her experience growing social media platforms, establishing relationships and taking on a new challenge.
Outside of work, Charlotte is getting to grips with a new city and, as a self-confessed coffee addict, is currently trying to find the best cafes in the area. She has already been signed up for a couple of Netball teams and spends any other free time madly knitting and crocheting.

So far, I’ve enjoyed the variety of work and, although I’m new to the packaging and waste compliance sector, I’ve found it extremely interesting and can’t wait to see Clarity’s continued growth in 2019.”
