Keeping Clarity WEEE Compliance Customers Satisified

In a survey of members of our WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment) compliance scheme last month, 90% of those who replied reported that Clarity exceeds or have met their expectations. Clarity set up the scheme in 2007 to provide businesses with a clear, cost-effective mechanism for ensuring compliance with the EU WEEE Directive for all categories of waste electrical and electronic equipment.

We are happy to report that 80% would recommend Clarity WEEE compliance. Most respondents told us that cost is their most important consideration when considering compliance needs, closely followed by customer service. Just over 12% of those who replied gave their company’s environmental impact as their primary concern. Not far off two thirds who replied find our online data submission system excellent and all respondents are satisfied with the way it allows them to report their data.

Also, almost all reported satisfaction with the communications circulated by Clarity Compliance. Of those who expressed an opinion all find our online members’ area excellent or good. Specific comments on our service included ‘regular reminders have proved invaluable’ and, ‘There are lots of subtleties to the WEEE regulations so having someone knowledgeable to ask those questions can be invaluable.’

A handful commented on the WEEE regulations themselves – some notably objecting to WEEE charging as another tax on business. Whilst this is beyond Clarity’s control, we are working to make WEEE compliance as clear and cost-effective as we can. We would like to thank all who responded, as by doing so you are helping us to maintain and improve our services to businesses, and contribute to the swift, safe recycling and disposal of electronic and electrical goods.

Project Manager Vikkie Fitzgerald said “We would like to thank all compliance scheme members who responded to our survey, as input from members helps us continue to provide an excellent service and improve it where necessary.  We take notice of what you say.”
