Clarity Environmental Named As Best Employer Finalist

We are delighted to have been named as a finalist for the Best Employer award in the Brighton and Hove Business Awards.

Entries for the awards, which are now celebrating thirteen years, have been judged by a panel of local and business experts, including Brighton and Hove Chamber of Commerce, British Airways i360, Churchill Square, DMH Stallard, Green Growth Platform, Heart, Hilton Sharp & Clarke, Natwest, Platinum Business Magazine, Quantuma LLP, Red7, Rockinghorse, Skerritts Wealth Management and University of Brighton.

All winners of the Brighton and Hove Business Awards will be announced at a ceremony to be held at the Hilton Brighton Metropole on 14 July 2018.

We are proud to have reached the shortlist of this year’s awards, which highlights the efforts we make to look after the health and wellbeing of our team.

The Clarity family works as a team and we involve our staff in the shaping of our future goals. We strive to ensure that each one of our team achieves great things, whilst also helping them to enjoy what they do, to be rewarded for their efforts and to make a difference.

Whether full or part-time, a new starter, or an original member of our team, we highly value each one of our employees and ensure they have the opportunity to achieve their maximum potential.

We are proud of the standard benefits we give to our staff, but we also go the extra mile by offering free personal training sessions twice a week, a transcendental meditation course, team building away days, and an internal staff awards event.

We believe that it is the little things that count too, and gestures such as birthday vouchers, Easter eggs, Christmas champagne and chocolates, we make our staff feel appreciated throughout the year

With a strong link between doing something good for others and a feeling of personal wellbeing, we made the decision to involve the Clarity team in our charitable giving process, and this year we created an internal charity donation committee. With representation across departments, the Clarity Cares committee decides on the causes, charities or projects that our business will choose to support with donations. We also invite each member of our team to put forward charities that mean something to them, and we encourage and support them to take part in charity events.

Our most important asset is our people; their ideas, talents and dedication are the key ingredients of our success. We believe in providing a working environment that allows our people to grow, both professionally and personally, and one that makes our employees feel involved and valued.
