Celebrating Our Staff Achievements in 2019

Our annual staff awards ceremony celebrates the hard work and commitment of our teams to help develop our business and support those we work with.

Earlier this month, our annual staff awards ceremony celebrated the hard work and commitment that our teams have given throughout the year to support our customers and help our business grow and succeed in 2019.

Our staff awards event recognises our team members for their achievements, as well as rewarding commitment and loyalty to the business, with long service awards.

We are always immensely proud of the Clarity team. But we are particularly pleased with how our teams have worked with the challenging markets in 2019, as well as a changing political landscape.

We are delighted to announce our 2019 winners:

Awarded to the new starter who has impressed the most in 2019. We are lucky to have been joined by some wonderful new starters this year across many of our divisions. This year, the award was given to Battery trader, Elaine Murphy, who has shown outstanding proactivity and drive whilst taking care of our battery trading division.

Awarded to the account manager who has gone the extra mile to deliver excellent customer service. Account Manager, Sam Caplen, was recognised for the guidance he has provided to our customers through particularly difficult WEEE and packaging markets, alongside the exceptional feedback he has received from our members.

Awarded to the member of staff who has shown outstanding efforts to support the business in critical areas in 2019. Winning the award was Office Manager, Lorraine Hill, who was recognised for helping us to achieve continued improvements in our business support and operations this year.

Business Development Executive, Dan Fullylove, who returned to a new role at Clarity earlier this year, was awarded Salesperson of the Year for showing excellence in generating new business for Clarity in 2019.

Awarded to the manager who has shown commitment to support and develop their team. Winning the award, Communications Manager, Lucy Brooks was recognised for ensuring her team is developing individually and supports the needs of the business.

Awarded to the communications team member who has gone above and beyond in 2019, Marketing Executive Charlotte Briggs was recognised for her enthusiasm and drive to deliver outstanding communications to both our internal and external audiences.

Voted for by her peers, Charlotte also won Team member of the Year.

Retaining expertise is important to ensure the success of a business and we are proud to have an experienced team. Our long service awards give us the opportunity to recognise those that show ongoing commitment and loyalty to the business. This years’ five year awards were given to Head of Finance and Business Support, Aiden Hill, and Head of Packaging, Martin Trigg-Knight.
