A Welcome, and a Welcome Back

With our business divisions continuing to grow, we are increasing our operational and administrative support to ensure we continue to provide our customers and suppliers with the service they have come to expect.

Joining us as Business Support Executive, Elaine Murphy will initially work alongside our battery trading team to ensure the smooth running of our take-back scheme, exporting scrap lead-acid to produce new automotive batteries.

Born in Middlesex, Elaine grew up in the Republic of Ireland, where she achieved a Bachelor of Business Degree from Cork Institute of technology. Since then, Elaine has had a varied work background, ranging from an accounts clerk in the construction industry to running a pizza restaurant and managing a care home facility.

A keen cyclist and lover of the environment, Elaine is proud to have been car-free for six years and says it was the office location and wellbeing ethos of our business that attracted her to the role: “I came to work at Clarity for the beautiful sea views, the friendly team and healthy work environment, with weekly exercise classes and yoga. But it was Clarity’s mission and values that resonated most with me and I am pleased to join such an ethically sound, passionate and progressive company.”

Elaine is full of enthusiasm for the role and says: “I am keen to get stuck into all aspects of the business and support the various divisions as much as possible to help the service we provide both our customers and suppliers.”

We are also pleased to announce a welcome return. Lorraine Hill has taken on a new role as Business Support Executive, supporting our operations and finance. Lorraine has a wealth of expertise and it is a pleasure to have her, along with her skills and experience, back in the team. Lorraine is providing operational support to our teams, booking transport for waste movements, managing sales paperwork and credit control.

Our most important asset is our people; their ideas, talents and dedication are the key ingredients of our success. We believe in providing a working environment that allows our people to grow, both professionally and personally, and one that makes our employees feel involved and valued.
