February was an exciting month for PRN trading at Clarity. The news is a double bonus for us as the excellent results follow on from a similarly brisk month of business through January.
Chris Taylor, Commercial Manager at Clarity said: “After a busy and exciting January we expected February to be quiet on the PRN trading front, but instead, our trading team has excelled, facilitating four times as much business as in February 2014.
“The forward markets have been very active in glass. Prices are much lower than in previous years and buyers are taking advantage of this. In addition, plastic prices, which were hardening, seem to have plateaued at least for the short term.
“All other grades remain in what appears to be a state of flux as buyers and suppliers jostle for a price that suits all parties.”
